Autism Books

We've all bought autism books that are either too boring and put us to sleep, too technical, hard to read or too difficult, if not impossible, to put its theories or suggestions into practice to help our children.

Parents are often expected to be their child's behavioral analyst, teacher, therapist and nurse. All without proper training!

The autism books below include experts like Temple Grandin, Donna Williams and Tony Atwood, authors who can help give you a better understanding of what it is your child may need, and what steps to take in order to achieve their goals. And some books are simply to be enjoyed!

This list of autism books is shared with you here mainly because they have passed the test as the most useful for our loved one and family. Also, some authors and publishers ask us to review their autism books and recommend them. Only those autism books we personally find to be parent-friendly and most helpful are listed here.

Click on any category below to view our highly recommended autism books. A book review page will appear whenever a book is selected.
