Autism Can Be Hard to Live With

I love my big brother Connor, even though autism can be hard to live with.
Sharing a room isn't so bad, but I can't wait until I don't have to do it anymore.
Autism can be sweet, loving and funny one minute -- then sensitive, selfish and angry the next.
Sometimes Autism gets so frustrated he hits me hard and makes me cry.
I forget Autism can't control his impulses because I'm only seven-years-old.
Mom and Dad don't have it easy either, because when they have peace, Autism causes chaos.
I always try to make people happy. I wish I could always make Autism happy.
I hope when my brother and I grow up, we will always be there for each other.
After all, Autism is the only brother I have.
