Brother, Through The Storm

by Rosemary
(Bloomington)

Pray, pray for me, because your prayers mean more than mine
Smile for me
I don’t know if you see like me, or hear like me,
But I know you understand
And I’m trying to return the favor
One day this’ll be different
One day we’ll find the words

I’ll sing, sing for you, because my voice can carry through your silence
And even when I’m sad,
I’ll smile for you
It’ll all be okay, one day

We’re getting farther and farther from the point
That’s okay
We’re going the same direction
And when yesterday’s gone and tomorrow's creeping up,
We’ll keep going
One day at a time

Pray, pray for me, because your prayers mean more than mine,
And I’ll pray for you, even though I don’t know how

We’ll be alright. We’ll be alright.
And I’m getting closer and closer,
To who I want to be
I’ll dream with you, because your light can help me see through the dark
Just let me hold your hand, and even though I don’t understand
I will smile for you, even when I’m sad
