Developmental Disabilities Services
Office - New York State
The Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities oversees the Developmental Disabilities Services Office in New York State. A local DDSO will provide individuals and families with information and make referrals to local service provider agencies, which provide services i.e. service coordination and respite. The DDSO is the starting point to apply for NYS Medicaid Waiver services. Call for information about many programs available in your area.
