I've had success with a number of children diagnosed as having Asperger's using a program called "ROPES" by Patty Schetter. Like everything in the field, this is not an easy fix, but it's use of a variety of simple visuals to make some of the self-regulatory and social interactional demands less of a mystery. Might be worth a look.
